In a year that has found EASTLAN RATINGS expand into 10 new markets overall, THURSDAY, the ratings company begins service to ANCHORAGE, AK, BILLINGS, MT, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, TRI-CITIES, WA and YAKIMA, WA.
Two of the 10 new markets have drawn national attention because in both APPLETON/OSHKOSH and GREEN BAY, all three major radio ratings firms provided SPRING audience measurement. It’s the first time EASTLAN, ARBITRON and NIELSEN have measured concurrently.
"We have found tremendous interest from broadcasters anxious to compare the results in these markets," said EASTLAN RATINGS Pres./CEO MIKE GOULD. "The most impressive number is not shown; that number is the tremendous difference is the price paid by the broadcaster to license the data."
