It was supposed to be off the record, but Pres. OBAMA was caught weighing in on KANYE WEST's MTV VIDEO AWARD stunt. Chatting with reporters, the President called WEST a "jackass."

'Sincere Apology'

KANYE WEST called TAYLOR SWIFT with a "very sincere" apology TUESDAY for interrupting her acceptance, SWIFT told CNN.

WEST phoned SWIFT, said her publicist, following her appearance on ABC's "The View. "KANYE did call me and he was very sincere in his apology," she said. "And I accepted that apology."
