THE NEW YORK POST reports "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH is raising a stink over a new fragrance planned by BEYONCÉ. The mall-based teen retailer -- filed a lawsuit against the pop star YESTERDAY (9/16) that promises a battle over the trademark 'fierce.'

Last year, BEYONCE took on the alter "SASHA FIERCE," and has applied to trademark the name for a fragrance and other products.

ABERCROMBIE, has sold a trademarked fragrance called FIERCE, and said BEYONCE "poses a likelihood of confusion" for shoppers, possibly leading them to think that ABERCROMBIE could be associated with it.

A spokeswoman for BEYONCÉ didn't immediately respond to a request for comment, and ABERCROMBIE officials declined to comment to THE POST.
