RADIOWEAVE, which combines social networking with personalized Internet radio, was launched at the DEMOfall 09 trade show, claims to deliver an easy-to-use web and mobile service that weaves customized public and private "radio stations" into a single audio steam.
"RADIOWEAVE will drive the reinvention of radio," said BRENT NOORDA, co-founder/CEO of RADIOWEAVE parent company, YIQYAQ. "Today consumers expect and demand the ability to filter and tailor everything they see, read and listen to online, where we spend a majority of our time. RADIOWEAVE is the solution that will give our users total control over their listening experience, blending multiple types of audio content into one personalized streaming experience."
At no cost, RADIOWEAVE users can listen to public or private content libraries and micro-channels of everything from news, sports, weather and traffic reports to music, podcasts and so on. The libraries and micro-channels are then blended together into a single, personalized audio stream that can be controlled by a tuner. Users can also create and produce their own content, and comment and react to content by sharing their own podcasts.
