Country singer/songwriter/guitar slinger STEVE WARINER will be inducted into the NATIONAL THUMBPICKERS HALL OF FAME during the 12th annual induction ceremony. The festivities take place on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th at the MERLE TRAVIS MUSIC CENTER in POWDERLY, KY. Joining STEVE in the 2009 class will be RICHARD SMITH and CHIP YOUNG.

In addition, STEVE's tribute album to his mentor CHET ATKINS, "STEVE WARNER, c.p.g, My Tribute To CHET ATKINS," was named the Thumbpicking Recording Of The Year.
