Emmis Teams With Nobex To Get Stations On Blackberries

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS entered into a co-branding and distribution agreement with NOBEX TECHNOLOGIES on the NOBEX RADIO COMPANION, which allows BLACKBERRY smartphone users to listen to EMMIS RADIO stations and more than 3,000 other stations from around the world.

Starting immediately, the NOBEX RADIO COMPANION will offer pre-sets of EMMIS stations such as WQHT (HOT 97) KPWR (POWER 106)/LOS ANGELES and WKQX (Q101)/CHICAGO. as well as provides customers with a way to get songs or ringtones; see song lyrics, synchronized with the music; song and artist information; and to receive an em-ail with links to buy the song from their PCs.
