WYCD To Host 'Rebels For A Cause' Benefit

CBS RADIO Country WYCD/DETROIT will host the "Rebels For A Cause - Maddie's Ride" MAKE-A-WISH fundraiser, featuring CURB/NASHVILLE's RODNEY ATKINS. The ride will take place OCTOBER 4th, beginning at the DETROIT HARLEY-DAVIDSON and ending at BLAKE's ORCHARD and CIDER MILL in ARMADA. RODNEY will perform a concert after the ride.

The event is being held in honor of MADDIE TRUDEL, who was 7-years-old when she passed away from bone cancer in NOVEMBER 2006. Prior to her passing, MADDIE's "Wish" was granted by the MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION of MICHIGAN for a trip to DISNEY WORLD. MADDIE's father, PAUL, created the "Rebels For A Cause" ride to help other children's wishes come true in memory of MADDIE.
