Bucky Gets The Key

LYRIC STREET/NASHVILLE artist BUCKY COVINGTON visited his hometown of ROCKINGHAM, NC over the weekend to perform for over 6,000 fans, friends and neighbors. BUCKY was in town raising awareness for the local BACKPACK PALS program, which provides nutritious weekend meals to underprivileged school kids.

Representatives from BACKPACK PALS were on hand at the show to collect food and monetary donations for the program, and BUCKY also stopped by the organization's office to help stuff backpacks for the kids. At the concert, ROCKINGHAM Mayor GENE McLAURIN declared SEPTEMBER 26th as "BUCKY COVINGTON DAY" and presented him with a key to the city.
