WRKO's Carr Unhurt In Car Crash

ENTERCOM Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON afternoon host and BOSTON HERALD columnist HOWIE CARR escaped injury after his car hit a telephone pole SUNDAY morning. The BOSTON GLOBE reports that CARR was driving in WELLESLEY when his car crossed the oncoming lane, hit a curb, and crashed into the pole.

CARR was ticketed for a marked-lanes violation but refused medical attention at the scene; WELLESLEY Sgt. MARIE CLEARY told the GLOBE, "There were no signs of alcohol or anything suspicious of that nature. It's a windy road there. I'm not sure if he was distracted for a moment."
