Barsky Breaks In To Save A Dog

ENTERCOM Top 40/Mainstream KDND (THE END)/SACRAMENTO morning host JASON BARSKY is today's do-gooder for helping someone break into a car. No, there wasn't any criminal intent; JASON wanted to break out a dog that was left in car during a late-season heat wave.

After calling the local authorities (who were too slow in responding), JASON and another concerned person broke into the car, using a broomstick, and popped the locks. They got the dog out, gave it some water, called the owner (the number was on the dog's tags), and called the police again.

BARSKY shared the story on the air on MONDAY, then was about to clarify the law regarding breaking into someone's car to rescue a dog left in the heat on this morning's show, but right before he went on, the dog's owner called in. It turns out that he's a big fan of JASON'S show and wanted to share his side of the story. It was some pretty cool radio.
