WXPN Celebrates Five Years In New facility, Conducting 885 Desert Island Song Countdown

UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA is the midst of their fall fund drive and to make it special, they are featuring the top 885 "Desert Island" songs as voted by the their listeners. The campaign began on SEPTEMBER 29th and will run through OCTOBER 9th. 

In addition, the station also produced an entertaining video that features a Gilligan’s Island-inspired remake starring station hosts and staff as the seven castaways. To view the video, click here. 

Further, the station is celebrating its five-year anniversary in its new facility at the WORLD CAFÉ LIVE venue. To mark the occasion, there will be a free anniversary concert on OOCTOBER 2nd featuring WILL HOGE, LANGHORNE SLIM, ALO BRASIL, TROMBOME SHORTY and other acts.
