  Condolences to the family and friends of DES MOINES radio veteran DIC YOUNGS, who passed away on THURSDAY (10/1) at the age of 68 after suffering from a long illness.
  YOUNGS began his career in radio at the age of 16 at SAGA COMMUNICATIONS Adult Standards KIOA-A (940), where he worked for 42 years, and at Oldies KIOA/DES MOINES most recently as afternoon host. Details and a full bio on YOUNG's career in radio can be found on www.KIOA.com.
