LIVE NATION has announced that hip-hop singer KANYE WEST has canceled his upcoming "Fame Kills" Tour with opening act LADY GAGA. No reason for the cancellation was given, reports the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES.

Theories as to the reason for the cancellation abound. A likely presumption cites the fallout from WEST's disruption of TAYLOR SWIFT's acceptance speech at the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS. He was reported to have been drinking cognac straight from the bottle before the incident, prompting speculation that WEST is headed to rehab.

However, the website MEDIATAKEOUT.COM reported that LADY GAGA wanted to get out of her supporting slot on the tour.
