AMERICAN WOMEN IN RADIO & TELEVISION has announced a donation ceremony celebrating a national educational program for public middle schools across the country, "AWRT EMPOWERING AMERICA." This program has been made possible by the support of FORD MOTOR COMPANY FUND for the the second consecutive year.

This year's event takes place on THURSDAY (10/8) at 10:30a at MALCOLM X MIDDLE SCHOOL in DETROIT, and is the third in a series of donation ceremonies across the county.
