HARKER RESEARCH is known for its upfront journalistic style in its monthly newsletter. ALL ACCESS has covered HARKER's thoughts on ARBITRON (NET NEWS 8/20/08) and more recently (NET NEWS 6/24) and PPM (NET NEWS 8/20), as some examples.

But TODAY (10/6), HARKER is taking a poke at radio blogger JERRY DEL COLLIANO, who regularly takes on the big radio operators for how they've done business in the past and continue to do business.  HARKER is comparing DEL COLLIANO to former Senator JOE McCARTHY for his scare tactics during the Cold War about Communism.
