LMA Puts Grand Slam Sports In Charge Of KFNS

BIG LEAGUE BROADCASTING has entered into an LMA with the management of its Sports KFNS-A/ST. LOUIS under which the managers, DAVE GREENE and JAMES OELKLAUS, will lease the station for their new GRAND SLAM SPORTS, reports the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH.

GREENE and OELKLAUS, who also publish ST. LOUIS SPORTS MAGAZINE, have been managing the station since last NOVEMBER under a partnership between their company and BIG LEAGUE. GREENE told the paper, "It is our intent to purchase the radio station," but BIG LEAGUE Pres. ANDREW SALTZMAN said that a sale is not necessarily imminent.
