Former CBS RADIO Talk WHFS (105.7 FREE FM) and HEARST Rock WIYY (98 ROCK)/BALTIMORE morning personality KIRK MCEWEN has exited his latest gig, a nighttime show on IRIE Rock WOCM(OCEAN 98)/OCEAN CITY, MD, after three months. WOCM's former nighttime host LESLEY BUNTING, who had exited for another job, is returning to take over her old shift.

MCEWEN told the SALISBURY DAILY TIMES that he had been commuting from his BALTIMORE home for the WOCM job, spending weekdays at the shore and weekends with his family in BALTIMORE. "I figured I was at my house 15 days in the last three months," he told the paper. "If I were younger, this place would have been ideal. I'm a little older, so it's not ideal. I just miss the wife, the kid, the dog. I did what I wanted to do here. It's starting to get real slow. LESLEY's coming back, so it worked out great. Time to pull the stakes out of the ground and get back to BALTIMORE." MCEWEN's non-compete in BALTIMORE expires at the end of the year.

WOCM was also a temporary home to former WESTWOOD ONE "DON AND MIKE SHOW" co-host DON GERONIMO, who briefly hosted a show on OCEAN 98 before taking a local talk show position at crosstown RESORT BROADCASTING COMPANY Talk WGMD/REHOBOTH BEACH, DE.
