GEORGE HAMILTON IV took home the "Entertainer of the Year Award" at the R.O.P.E AWARDS held OCTOBER 8th at AL MENAH SHRINER's TEMPLE in NASHVILLE. JOHN HOBBS, who owned the NASHVILLE PALACE, was presented the "ERNEST TUBB Humanitarian Award" by DAVID MCCORMICK, of ERNEST TUBB RECORD SHOPS and JEANNIE SEELY.
The "Musician Award" winner was JERRY KENNEDY and DICKEY LEE took home the "Songwriter Award." TOMMY CASH was the "Business Award Winner" and MARTY MARTEL was the "Media Award" winner.
