Markland Named VP/A&R

WARNER/CHAPPELL MUSIC/NASHVILLE has appointed STEVE MARKLAND to VP/A&R, effective immediately. MARKLAND will report to SVP/Head of A&R TRACY GERSHON.

With more than 20 years of music industry experience, STEVE has a solid track record in discovering and nurturing talented songwriters, and with successfully pairing songs with recording projects and artists. Prior to joining WARNER/CHAPPELL, MARKLAND served 11 years as VP at WINDSWEPT PUBLISHING, where he was responsible for discovering and cultivating emerging songwriters, including JEFFREY STEELE.
