COX Top 40 WAPE/JACKSONVILLE morning stud muffin MARK KAYE was off today and phoned into the station with the feeble excuse that "he was sick" -- ahemmmmmmmmmmm! But that was pure horse pucky!

The ALL ACCESS spies found out that MR. KAYE left new morning show girl ANNA and producer MIKE P in charge of the show as he was in MIAMI auditioning to replace the recently departed BILLY MAYS as the new spokesperson for Mighty Putty, -- from the makers of Urine Gone, The Ding King, and King Kong Dong.

Word is that WAPE PD TIM "KIM CHEE" CLARKE ended the show early around 9a, calling the remaining members of the "mess" into a meeting ... to be continued. And, MARK has been asked to come back for a second audition. Hmmmmmmmmmmm!  What's next?
