BUSTA RHYMES was ordered by a BROOKLYN hearing officer YESTERDAY (10/14) to pay an ALBANY, NY man who was doused with water, hit with bottles and sucker-punched by RHYMES and a bodyguard $75,000. THE NEW YORK POST reports "the injured man, ALEX DUNCAN, testified that he suffered nightmares and psychological after-effects of the SEPTEMBER 13, 2003, attack during a break in a rap concert at SUNY ALBANY."
"It's all right," DUNCAN told the newspaper of the award. "I wanted something to come out of it. I don't even go to parties anymore, because there's always someone asking, 'What happened to that BUSTA RHYMES case?'"
DUNCAN's lawyer, RONALD HART, had sought $500,000.
