It Took 3.9 Million Texts To Win WNOU Contest

RADIO ONE Top 40 WNOU (RADIO NOW 100.9)/INDIANAPOLIS announced on SEPTEMBER 28th that it will embark on another "Principal For A Day" contest, this time featuring the national recording artist JUSTIN BEIBER.

Within two hours of the campaign being under way, the station was inundated with over twelve thousand text messages, making the total number of texts at seventy thousand for day one. Nine days later, the winning school was named after 3.9 million texts messages total were received for the contest.

"We couldn’t wait to bring this contest back. I wish I had up close and personal opportunities with my favorite musicians like this when I was in school," said WNOU PD TIM RAINEY.
