26th Annual Love Ride Cancelled

The 26th annual LOVE RIDE which was slated to take place OCTOBER 25th in POMONA, CA has been cancelled. DWIGHT YOAKUM and JAY LENO had been scheduled to perform at the event. LOVE RIDE founder OLIVER SHOKOUH cited the weak economy as the reason for the cancellation. SHOKOUH was optimistic that the LOVE RIDE would return, if not next year, then in 2011.

In place of the usual event, GLENDALE HARLEY is sponsoring an autograph session with PETER FONDA and a free movie screen of FONDA's film "Easy Rider." The event will take place at the dealership OCTOBER 23rd from 4-10p.
