Country group The OAK RIDGE BOYS' performance of "G.I. Joe And Lillie," featuring JOE BONSALL, has surpassed one million views on YOU TUBE and is still climbing.
The song is based on the book "G.I. Joe And Lillie: Remembering A Life Of Love And Loyalty," written by BONSALL about his late parents. It tells the story of a man and a woman who meet, fall in love and volunteer to serve their country during WORLD WAR II.
The song is found on the OAK RIDGE BOYS' 2003 album, "Colors." The book, now in its 8th printing, has sold more than 115,000 copies. Click here to see the video and click here to read more about the book.
