ALL ACCESS hears that PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS is pulling SEAN HANNITY, GLENN BECK and weekend shows "HANDEL ON THE LAW" and "THE WEEKEND WITH MIKE MCCONNELL" from DAVIE COUNTY BROADCASTING Talk WDSL-A/MOCKSVILLE, NC due to exclusivity to be granted to another station in the adjacent GREENSBORO-WINSTON SALEM market.
WDSL sister Talk WSIC-A/STATESVILLE will cancel HANNITY at the same time. The shows will end on the stations on DECEMBER 31st.
HANNITY also airs on CURTIS MEDIA Talk WSJS-A-WSML-A/GREENSBORO in the market, and WDSL-WSIC's MARK SANGER notes that PREMIERE said it will not be putting the shows being removed from WDSL on WSJS.
Could CLEAR CHANNEL be planning a new FM talker in the TRIAD? Rumors of more FM talkers coming to CLEAR CHANNEL in the coming months are popping up.
