Arbitron Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend; Over 7 Million Tuned-In Online In Lastest Monthy Results

ARBITRON announced that its Board Of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per common share ($0.40 per share on an annualized basis) payable on APRIL 3rd to shareholders of record as of MARCH 15, 2006.
In unrelated ARBITRON news, more than 7 million people 12+ tuned to the online radio networks during an average week in DECEMBER (MONDAY-SUNDAY, 6A-Mid), according to the latest comSCORE ARBITRON ONLINE RADIO RATINGS. It marks the first time the Cume for the five measured networks surpassed 7 million listeners.
YAHOO! MUSIC leads in Cume (2,759,100) followed by AMERICA ONLINE's AOL RADIO NETWORK (1,877,900), MICROSOFT'S MSN RADIO AND WINDOWMEDIA.COM (1,116,900), CLEAR CHANNEL ONLINE MUSIC AND RADIO (797,300), and LIVE 365 (721,200). Midday Cume is rapidly approaching 2 million for the five netowrks. The latest midday Cume reached a new high of 1,832,300.
