A CAPE COD, MA District Court judge has denied a motion for a new trial for CBS Oldies WODS/BOSTON's BARRY SCOTT TURKOWITZ, who was found guilty last year (NET NEWS 7/29/2008) of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest, fining him a total of $600 for the two charges from a 2007 birthday party scuffle in PROVINCETOWN.

TURKOWITZ, reports CAPECODONLINE.COM, sought a new trial based on new evidence that disputed police officers' accounts of the incident. Judge BRIAN MERRICK denied the motion, according to a court clerk.
