Country Artists Nominated In People's Choice Awards

CARRIE UNDERWOOD, BRAD PAISLEY, SUGARLAND, RASCAL FLATTS, MIRANDA LAMBERT and TAYLOR SWIFT are among the artists nominated for "Best Country Artist," in the first-round nominations for the annual PEOPLE's CHOICE AWARDS.

CARRIE and TAYLOR are also both in the running for "Favorite Female Artist," while TAYLOR got a nomination in the "Favorite Pop Artist" category as well. TIM MCGRAW, TOBY KEITH and KEITH URBAN are nominated for "Favorite Male Artist" and LADY ANTEBELLUM and ZAC BROWN BAND are the country contenders for "Favorite Breakout Artist."
