WJLB, WMXD Head Out To The 'Burbs

CLEAR CHANNEL/DETROIT Urban WJLB and Urban AC WMXD (MIX 92.3) are packing their bags and heading to the burbs after decades in the historic PENOBSCOT BUILDING in downtown DETROIT, reports THE DETROIT NEWS.

The stations will join their sister stations in CLEAR CHANNEL/DETROIT's FARMINGTON HILLS facility in mid-NOVEMBER. 

President/Market Mgr. TIL LEVESQUE said the move was the last step in a six-year process to consolidate METRO DETROIT operations in one central location.
