Whoops! RUSH LIMBAUGH had to correct himself FRIDAY after talking about an alleged college thesis written by President OBAMA that showed "doubts" about the Constitution, based on a report which turned out to be in turn based on a satirical website's fictional post.
The PREMIERE radio host spoke at length on a report by MICHAEL LEDEEN on a story first posted at the website JUMPING IN POOLS about an OBAMA thesis called "Aristocracy Reborn"; after spending several segments talking about the thesis, a researcher sent LIMBAUGH a "mini-alert" that the quotes were not real.
Nevertheless, LIMBAUGH, playing back an actual quote from OBAMA (speaking in 2001 on redistribution of wealth and addressing "political and economic justice in this society"), said, "we know that it's on his mind. So even if he didn't say it, I know he thinks it. That's how it works now in the media. And I do know he thinks it because I just heard what I heard, and so did you."
