KIIM Hits Its Goal Early For Annual Penny Drive

Gathering Pennies For A Good Cause

CITADEL Country KIIM/TUSCON welcomed CURB artist RODNEY ATKINS in concert on FRIDAY (10/23) to help raise money for ARIZONA's CHILDREN ASSOCIATION. Between ticket sales and money raised from an autographed guitar auction, the "Penny Pitch" event raised almost $12,000.

This amount has already surpassed the goal of $10,000 that KIIM sets each year during its annual penny drive for the charity at a local mall. This year's broadcast from the mall will be held in DECEMBER.
