A coalition of the BBC and independent commercial stations is planning a single website with access to every U.K. radio station, reports THE INDEPENDENT.
The site could potentially offer up to 500 streams and is scheduled to be available by early next year, incorporating the BBC's RadioPlayer service with the company's 10 national services, the WORLD SERVICE, and 46 regional stations.
RADIOCENTRE CEO ANDREW HARRISON says that the site could be testing before CHRISTMAS of this year.
