CBC Gets OK To Move Yukon Station To FM

The CRTC has appoved the CBC's application to move its CBC RADIO ONE affiliate CFWH-A/WHITEHORSE, YUKON TERRITORY to FM with the rebroadcasting transmitters in WATSON LAKE, MAYO, ELSA, TESLIN, BEAVER CREEK, SWIFT RIVER, CARMACKS, ROSS RIVER, ATLIN, FARO, DESTRUCTION B BAY, HAINES JUNCTION and DAWSON CITY continuing to carry the same programming.  CFWH will move to 94.5 FM with 3,30 watts.

In addition, the agency approved new Type B community FMs for DAWSON CITY COMMUNITY RADIO SOCIETY in DAWSON CITY, YUKON TERRITORY and RADIO COOPERATIVE DE COATICOOK, COOP DE SOLIDARITE in COATICOOK, QC.
