WTAQ Host Suspended

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Talk WTAQ-A/GREEN BAY PD and host JERRY BADER has been suspended for two weeks for comments about WISCONSIN Lt. Gov. BARBARA LAWTON. 

BADER had said on his blog on the station website that LAWTON's withdrawal from next year's gubernatorial race was due to marital difficulties; the host retracted the comments and apologized after he reported that he had "lost confidence in the sources" for the story, but the station has suspended BADER and a statement on the station website says that "a decision on his future will come then."
