The upcoming TALK SHOW BOOT CAMP in ATLANTA will present a special award named after the late FOX SPORTS RADIO programmer ANDREW ASHWOOD to "an individual who has made a positive impact in the radio industry by discovering and mentoring talent." The ASHWOOD Award will be presented at the conference, scheduled for NOVEMBER 14th at the CROWNE PLAZA RAVINIA in the PERIMETER MALL area of ATLANTA.
TALENTMASTERS President and MORNING SHOW BOOT CAMP/TALK SHOW BOOT CAMP founder DON ANTHONY said, "ANDREW was a great friend for 30 years. He always believed in talent and was a great mentor to many. For years, he encouraged me to extend our boot camp concept to the talk community, so it seems only appropriate to honor him in this way. There will never be another ANDREW, but hopefully through this award, his legacy will carry on forever."
The event will also feature participation by NEAL BOORTZ, PHIL HENDRIE, TODD SCHNITT, RUSTY HUMPHRIES, GABE HOBBS, BRIAN JENNINGS, GREG MOCERI, KIPPER MCGEE, PHIL BOYCE, AL PETERSON, MICHAEL HARRISON, ALL ACCESS' own PERRY MICHAEL SIMON, and many more. Find out more at www.talkshowbootcamp.com.
