3 Dial Global Formats Added To Mediabase Charts

MEDIABASE, the industry-leading music website for in-depth chart analysis, has added three DIAL GLOBAL music formats to their roster of reporting radio stations. The formats are Hot Country, Hot AC and Adult Contemporary.

To date, MEDIABASE has only considered the airplay on terrestrial radio stations and not included national radio networks.

By including DIAL GLOBAL’s 24-hour format airplay, MEDIABASE "acknowledges the tremendous reach of DIAL GLOBAL’s formats in hundreds of medium and small markets. Hot Country and Hot AC both have over 1,000,000 weekly listeners, and Adult Contemporary has about 900,000."

MEDIABASE CEO/Pres. PHILIPPE GENERALI confirmed, "We are very excited that DIAL GLOBAL’s stations have been added to the list of reporting stations for MEDIABASE. In a continuing effort to have the most credible and accurate charts in the radio and music businesses, we were delighted to be able to incorporate their stations into the mix of airplay reports we offer."
