Police are investigating a gunshot fired at the NEW JERSEY home of UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS and CNN host LOU DOBBS after he received threatening phone calls earlier this month. FOX NEWS reports that DOBBS told listeners MONDAY about the incident, which he said was likely tied to opposition to his stand on illegal immigration.
"Three weeks ago this morning, a shot was fired at my house where I live," said DOBBS. "My wife was standing out and that followed weeks and weeks of threatening phone calls. But this shot was fired with my wife not, I don't know, 15 feet away, and we had threatening phone calls that I decided not to report because I get threatening phone calls."
The NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE told FOX NEWS that a bullet did strike the DOBBS' house, hitting the siding by the attic and falling to the ground.
