CLEAR CHANNEL Country WFUS/TAMPA raised $131,805 for ALL CHILDREN's HOSPITAL during its 2nd Annual US 103.5 CARES FOR KIDS radiothon on OCTOBER 28th & 29th.
The station broadcast live from the hospital in Downtown St. PETERSBURG, where they spoke with parents and children who have used the hospital.
Former TAMPA BAY BUCCANEER star MIKE ALSTOTT, along with GOLDEN MUSIC/NASHVILLE group WILLIAMS RILEY and MCA/NASHVILLE's MALLARY HOPE also took time to visit with patients and parents at the hospital during the event.
All monies raised will help fund completion of a brand new, state of the art facility, which will serve as the region's primary children's hospital. The new hospital will open DECEMBER 12th.
Kudos to WFUS PD TRAVIS DAILY and his staff on a job well done.
