WRDU Will Flip To Talk Radio Early Next Year

As ALL ACCESS tipped you YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 11/2), CLEAR CHANNEL/RALEIGH GM DICK HARLOW tells the TRIANGLE BUSINESS JOURNAL that Country WRDU will flip to Conservative Talk at the beginning of next year. The station will broadcast GLENN BECK from 9a-noon (ET), RUSH LIMBAUGH from noon-3p (ET) and SEAN HANNITY from 3-6p (ET).

HARLOW says that the morning and evening slots will feature local hosts to be announced later. WRDU competes with crosstown CURTIS MEDIA Country WQDR, who has consistently outperformed it in ratings. By flipping to Talk, they will go up against CURTIS MEDIA sister Talk WPTF-A, one of the top-rated local AM stations.
