Mary Martin To Be Honored At Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum

The COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM will honor music industry executive MARY MARTIN at the LOUISE SCRUGGS MEMORIAL FORUM on NOVEMBER 17th. The event starts at 6p (CT) at the HALL OF FAME's FORD THEATER, and it's free and open to the public.

The FORUM was established in 2007 to honor music industry leaders who can be seen as the legatees of SCRUGGS, the wife of HALL OF FAMER EARL SCRUGGS and the first woman in Country music to take on roles in booking and management. Honorees are chosen by the MUSEUM and the GIBSON FOUNDATION, with approval from the SCRUGGS family.

VP/Museum Programs JAY ORR will conduct the forum interview with MARTIN, analyzing her 40-year career in artist management and A&R. The interview will be illustrated with recordings, film clips and photos from the MUSEUM's archives, MARTIN's personal collection and more.
