Music City Walk Of Fame Unveils New Honorees

The seventh class of inductees to the MUSIC CITY WALK OF FAME, which is presented by founding sponsor GIBSON GUITAR, will be officially unveiled on SUNDAY (11/08). The ceremony will begin at 2p (CT) at the HALL OF FAME PARK in downtown NASHVILLE. Namesake of TOOTSIE's bar TOOTSIE BESS and artists
CHARLIE DANIELS, DOLLY PARTON, KID ROCK and ERNEST TUBB will receive commemorative sidewalk markers as this year's honorees.Created in 2006, the MUSIC CITY WALK OF FAME is a tribute to those from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of NASHVILLE and have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration. With the induction of this new class of honorees, there will be 42 total stars along the walk.
Nominations were open to the public and application forms were reviewed by an anonymous selection committee. The induction ceremony, which is sponsored by GAC, is free and open to the public.
