WPW BROADCASTING Oldies KWPC-A/MUSCATINE, IA newsman CHARLES POTTER has exited the station, resigning on SATURDAY, reports the MUSCATINE JOURNAL.

POTTER told the paper that he left rather than accept an additional assignment to host the station's morning show to fill the gap left when RON EDWIN exited last month. "The demands were becoming too much," POTTER said, adding, "I just didn’t see how it was going to be possible ... Being 61 and having neglected my family for a long time, I just said, 'I don’t need this anymore.'"
