CMA Hosts Twitter Viewing Party

After the success of the CMA's first "Tweet & Greet" during the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL in JUNE, the CMA has decided to host "The CMA Awards Twitter Viewing Party" at www.cmaawards.com. 

The site will feature CMA AWARDS-related "tweets," live photos from the Red Carpet, discussion questions and more. Two TWITTER columns will be available for fans and "insiders" such as artists, CMA staff, credentialed media and volunteers.

CMA is also bringing back the "My Picks" feature on FACEBOOK and CMAawards.com to allow fans to share their choices for this year's CMA AWARD winners. They can post their picks on their FACEBOOK page, MYSPACE page, personal blog or website and invite others to join the poll.

CMA VP/Strategic Marketing & Communications DAN BOWEN said: "We know our Country fans and viewers want the inside scoop on the CMA AWARDS, and we want to engage them in compelling and entertaining ways. We are excited to provide the online community an opportunity to closely connect with CMA events and with each other."
