CLEAR CHANNEL/SAN FRANCISCO Pres./Market Manager DAVE PUGH has tapped DON PARKER as Operations Manager across the seven-station cluster effective NOVEMBER 16th.
PARKER has spent the past four years as President of PARKER BROADCASTING MEDIA SPECIALISTS. He's also served as NEXT MEDIA GROUP VP/Programming as well as PD at MEGA 100/LOS ANGELES, KKFR/PHOENIX, KTBZ/HOUSTON, KBOS/FRESNO and KEDG/LAS VEGAS. He's also has market experience as PD at crosstown Top 40/Dance KNGY (ENERY 92.7, now Top 40 KREV), and this makes his second run at Urban AC KISQ -- where he will be day-to-day PD -- as he was involved with KISQ's startup in 1997.
PUGH said, "DON brings a wide range of major-market experience to this role as well as a deep understanding of the SAN FRANCISCO market. We're looking forward to his perspective and impact on building our strong portfolio of radio and online brands."
