Cleveland Talker Merle Pollis Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former WWWE-A (3WE) and WERE-A/CLEVELAND talk host MERLE POLLIS, who died MONDAY of congestive heart failure at 69. The CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER reports that POLLIS worked as a commentator for suburban WELW-A as recently as last week; he was also heard over the years on WEEP-A and WJAS-A/PITTSBURGH, WHLO-A/AKRON, WSUM-A/PARMA-CLEVELAND, and WBBG-A, WJW-A, and WHK-A/CLEVELAND.
