WLWK Announces 'Shareholder's Meeting'

JOURNAL BROADCASTING Adult Hits WLWK 94.5 LAKE FM/MILWAUKEE celebrates their first anniversary with their first "SHAREHOLDER's MEETING" on FRIDAY (11/6).

Attendees do not have to own any stock in WLWK. The term "SHAREHOLDERS' describes loyal LAKE FM listeners who have helped with the station’s success during its first year.

According to LAKE FM PD J. PAT MILLER, The ‘SHAREHOLDERS’ represent our listeners whose honest and frequent feedback has helped us make the station the success it is today. The listeners of LAKE FM have taken the opportunity to help improve and build LAKE FM, and on FRIDAY we will thank MILWAUKEE's greatest radio audience, the listeners of 94.5 LAKE FM.

At the WISCONSIN STATE FAIR this past AUGUST, for instance, "SHAREHOLDERS" completed surveys about their listening habits and what they would want to hear on their ideal radio station. More recently, listeners voted for their favorite BEATLES songs and created the TOP 20 BEATLES’ songs list that the station played."

The event will be held along MILWAUKEE’s lakefront at DISCOVERY WORLD's PILOT HOUSE ROOM and listeners can register to win tickets through the station’s web site, www.945lakefm.com.
