BONNEVILLE Sports WXOS (101 ESPN)/ST. LOUIS midday "PARRIS AND BURWELL SHOW" host PAT PARRIS has exited the station. The departure is being described by the station as by "mutual" agreement.
Co-host BRYAN BURWELL will continue solo 9-11a CT until a new co-host is hired. BERNIE MIKLASZ's show will be extended from two to three hours 11a-2p CT starting NOVEMBER 16th.
PD JASON BARRETT said, "We’re excited about the prospect of finding someone who will pair well with BURWELL's style of sports journalism. We will be doing an extensive search to find the right mix of experience and talent to work opposite BRYAN. We are not rushing this decision and will do our due diligence in order to find the person who can help us create a program that will generate strong ratings during this timeslot.
"The demand for BERNIE MIKLASZ's program has been very high, and he has truly demonstrated during the past seven months that he can thrive when given the freedom to host a program on his own. I couldn’t be happier with his performance and I believe much of his success is due to how hard he works at providing a compelling, informative and entertaining show. It’s easy to see why he is one of the best and most influential sports personalities in ST. LOUIS."
