Advocates Organize Live 'Orphan Sunday' Event

STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, SHOWHOPE, FOCUS ON THE FAMILY and FAMILYLIFE are organizing a first ever live event called "ORPHAN SUNDAY" this SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8th.

The event will be simulcast via satellite and MOODY RADIO NETWORK and by webcast at www.OrphanSunday.org at 5p/2p (ET/PT). The event will feature speakers and performers including CHAPMAN, GEOFF MOORE, the CHILDREN OF THE WORLD CHOIR, FOCUS ON THE FAMILY Pres. JIM DALY and FAMILYLIFE Pres. DENNIS RAINEY.

NOVEMBER is NATIONAL ADOPTION AWARENESS MONTH. The goal of the event is to raise awareness for the more than 140 million orphans worldwide.
