The RTDNA's 2010 PAUL WHITE AWARD will go to CBS "60 MINUTES" correspondent STEVE KROFT. The award will be presented at the RTDNA convention in LAS VEGAS on APRIL 12th. KROFT will be the fifth "60 MINUTES" personality to be honored with the award, following MIKE WALLACE, MORLEY SAFER, and the late ED BRADLEY and DON HEWITT.
"STEVE KROFT's practice of our craft stands as a benchmark providing substance, depth, public service and thoughtful style," said award committee Chairman ED ESPOSITO. "STEVE not only carries forward the standard of the legendary '60 MINUTES"; his body of work clearly places him at the top of our profession, and exemplifies leadership worthy of the PAUL WHITE AWARD."
