Big Kenny CD On Deck

GLOTOWN/LOVE EVERYBODY/BIGGER PICTURE's BIG KENNY's new album, "The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy," is set to be released TOMORROW (11/10). A unique element of the album is that the packaging surrounding the disc is made of 100% compostable materials and is embedded with a variety of BIG KENNY's favorite perennial wild flowers. Buyers can plant the casing and within 2-3 weeks, flowers should germinate.

The packaging is made by MOLDED FIBER, a UFP TECHNOLOGIES brand. It is only recently that manufacturing techniques have led to the ability to embed seeds in both fold up cartons and traditional molded parts. Special designs also allow for the production of cartons that can fold without the use of glues.
